Security
How NAIGRAPH keeps your documents safe: where they live, who can reach them, and how customers stay separated.
Last updated: October 24, 2026
1.Your data stays with you
NAIGRAPH is installed on servers that you control. Documents, search indexes and user accounts stay inside your infrastructure. We do not run a central service that holds customer data. The only exception is the free online trial, which runs on our server and is described in the Privacy Policy.
2.Customer separation
Every customer, department or brand gets its own separate space. The engine applies this separation before any search runs, and our automated tests check that files and results do not cross that line.
3.Access and accounts
Sign in is protected with industry standard password hashing and rate limiting on repeated failed attempts. Administrative functions require a separate token that you set during installation.
4.Encryption
We recommend, and our installation guide describes, running the workspace behind a reverse proxy with TLS so that all traffic between users and the server is encrypted.
5.Backups
The product includes tools to take a verified backup and to restore it. Backups stay on your infrastructure.
6.Reporting a vulnerability
If you believe you have found a security issue, please send the details through the contact page. We will acknowledge your report within two business days and keep you informed while we work on a fix. Please give us reasonable time to address the issue before sharing it publicly.
